The inline Starters card now reports impressions and clicks per question

Until now, the questions shown in an inline Starters card were not measured. A question could be earning its slot there and you had no way to see it.

Each chip in the card now counts as one impression when the card scrolls into view, and one click when a shopper taps it. The figures show up under a new Starter questions surface:

  • In the Engagement report's By starter question table, as a fourth column next to welcome screen, question bar and chat bubble.
  • In the surface breakdown on each question's own page.
  • In the impressions, clicks and CTR that the Questions list and the all-surfaces totals already show, which now include the card.

Typing your own question in the card's free-text field is not counted as a question click. History starts from now: the card's earlier impressions and taps were never recorded.

The Engagement report's "By starter question" table with a new "Starter questions" column between "Chat bubble" and "All surfaces". The first question reads 6.9% on 620 impressions and 43 clicks there, and the last question reads "Not shown here" because it never appeared in the card.
