Assistant name and avatar are now versioned with the rest of your configuration
ChangedAn agent's shopper-facing name and avatar (set on its Settings tab, Public identity card) now live on its configuration version, the same place its instructions, tools, and connectors already live.
Saving from Settings still works exactly as before: same card, same fields, and if the assistant is live, the change reaches shoppers immediately. Under the hood, saving now creates a new configuration version rather than editing one in place, so a draft or candidate version can carry a different name and avatar than what's actually live, exactly like every other setting on a version. Preview it in the Playground, including side by side in compare mode, before promoting it to champion.
Version history is more accurate as a result: opening an older version now shows the name and avatar it actually had, instead of whatever the agent's identity happens to be today. Versions that existed before this change show a note that their identity was carried over rather than configured for that specific version.
The avatar "Remove" button is now labeled Clear avatar.
