Choose which product emails you get
AddedUntil now the only way to follow what shipped was to visit the changelog or wire up its RSS feed. Your account has a third option: Notifications (in the menu behind your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar, and next to Profile and Security in the Account panel), with a switch for each of two emails.
- Weekly product update: the pick of the week, each Tuesday, covering the previous seven days. A lead change with its screenshot, up to four more below it, then every remaining change as a one-line entry. Which change leads, the subject line, and the intro are chosen by a model from that week's entries, and it may reword a description so the digest reads in one voice. None of it can go beyond what the entries say, and nothing is dropped for space.
- Daily changelog: every change published the day before, in the words of the person who shipped it, each morning. No editing, no summary.
Take either, both, or neither. Both start off: nothing is sent until you flip a switch and click Save.
Two things worth knowing before you turn them on:
A quiet morning means nothing shipped. Neither email is ever sent empty: no "nothing to report" note. Plenty of days publish nothing at all, so no email that morning is the normal state, not a delivery problem.
Unsubscribing is per email. The Unsubscribe link in the footer opens our email provider's own preference page, where both emails are listed separately: drop the daily, keep the weekly, no sign-in needed. Whatever you choose there is reflected on the Notifications page next time you open it, and turning a switch back on there re-subscribes you.
The page also lists, read-only, the two emails that already reach you without asking: Evaluation run finished and Site analysis finished. Those are marked Always on and are unaffected by the switches above, including if you unsubscribe from everything.
Both product emails are written in English and sent from product@news.iadvize.ninja. If you'd rather not have an account involved at all, the changelog's RSS feed is unchanged.
