Organization profile
Edit your organization's display name and logo, or view them read-only if you don't have edit access.
Click your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar to open the user menu, choose Organization Settings, and you're there: General is the default section, at /dashboard/settings. The Organization profile card holds your organization's display name and logo, the same name shown beneath your current site in the sidebar head and in Members.
Who can edit the profile
Editing the name and logo requires the Organization: Edit permission. The built-in Admin role has it, and you can grant it to any custom role. Without it you still see the current name and logo (or the initials fallback) read-only: the name field and logo upload control just aren't shown. See Roles for how permissions work.
Edit the name
Click your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar to open the user menu, then choose Organization Settings.
Click Save changes. A confirmation appears, and the new name shows beneath your current site in the sidebar right away.
The name can't be empty, and is trimmed of leading/trailing spaces before saving.
Also updates WorkOS
Your organization's name is also used by WorkOS, our identity provider, for example in invitation emails and the hosted sign-in page. Saving a new name here updates both places, so those surfaces never fall out of sync with what your team sees in the dashboard. If updating WorkOS fails, nothing is saved and you'll see an error; your organization's name stays as it was.
Upload or change the logo
Click your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar to open the user menu, then choose Organization Settings.
In the Organization profile card, choose a file for Logo: click it to browse, or drag a file from your computer and drop it directly onto the field (it highlights while you're dragging over it). A preview replaces the current logo (or the initials fallback) once you pick or drop a valid file.
Prop
Type
A dropped file goes through the exact same checks as one picked with the file browser. A file that fails either check shows an error next to the field and does not change your current logo: nothing is uploaded.
Once saved, the new logo shows the next time you open this card.
Remove the logo
Once a logo is set (or a new one is previewed), a Remove button appears next to it.
The logo is cleared and the card falls back to showing your organization's initials, the same fallback shown before any logo was ever set. Removing the logo doesn't touch the name: you can clear the logo and edit the name in the same save, or either on its own.
